MY KANGA AND ME

MY KANGA AND ME

MY KANGA AND ME (EDITOR) (2026) (FASHION/DOCUMENTARY FILM)

Three young wanderers wrapped in kanga journey through Brixton and beyond, tracing their way back to identity, heritage and self-love in a poetic reflection on what it means to be lost and found.

The film blends fashion, poetry and real interviews to explore what it means to get lost in life, and how culture, family and memory help us find our way back. This is a love letter to Africa, to Swahili culture and to the strength and beauty of Black and queer identity. My Kanga and Me is about finding your path, being guided by the past and returning to yourself.
